Ok, Ayuntamiento have officially pissed me off. They have lost a set of plans for the project so I had to reprint them all. They keep telling me to come in on a certain date and when I come in just tell me to come in next week. They will not break me though! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel - my new strategy is just to go in every day and keep bothering them until they give me the permits...
So its not all dull news, I got myself a new toy today...

Suzuki GSXR 750 |
With Katherine using the jeep for the salon I needed some transport. Could not justify the expense of another car so I started looking for a motorbike. Nothing fancy I told myself, something like a 250 motocross etc... But nope Katherine didnt like the look of those so I have ended up with a Suzuki GSXR750. I have to say I love it. Haven't even taken it out for a proper ride yet but I am going to start doing some trips around the country at weekends.
Buying a bike, especially a sportsbike over here is a minefield. I would say 70% are either stolen or imported without paying taxes. So not wanting to have to pay off the police everytime I get pulled over made sure it was 100% legal with all taxes paid. If you find one you like make sure you actually go and get the paperwork checked out - I almost bought one but checked the aduana at the import office and it was a fake.
So getting myself kitted up and taking her out for a spin tomorrow. Should take my mind off waiting for permits...
